“Travel+”: the strategy behind Jetour’s boxy SUVs
300+JETOUR CLUBs
31,000+members
500+events in 2025
30+countries with customisation

At the end of July 2026 Jetour confirmed its international push for boxy SUVs and put numbers to its “Travel+” strategy: more than 300 JETOUR CLUBs with over 31,000 members, more than 500 organised road trips and camping events during 2025, and factory vehicle customisation in over 30 countries and regions.

For a brand that has only existed since 2018 that is an unusual set of priorities. And it explains why the cars are built the way they are.

The strategy

What “Travel+” actually means

“Travel+” is not an advertising line but a development brief: the vehicles are meant to handle longer journeys, camping and unsurfaced tracks — from the factory, not through accessories. The design decisions visible on both European models follow from it.

On the T2 those are the upright body with generous headroom, 28° and 30° angles and a 70-litre tank alongside the battery. On the G700 they go further: a ladder frame, 900 mm wading depth, a 100-litre tank, air suspension and a V2L socket for running external equipment — a car that does not merely arrive at the end of the track but is useful once it is there.

Customisation is part of the programme too: in more than 30 countries cars can be personalised at the factory, and here that feeds into the configurators where colours, interiors and packages are put together.

The community

What 300 clubs have to do with buying a car

1
Practical knowledge

Where 31,000 owners travel in organised groups, real-world knowledge about tyres, roof tents, towing and consumption accumulates far faster than in the forums of a single market.

2
Accessory ecosystem

Large user groups attract accessory makers. For boxy SUVs with clear mounting points that means racks, skid plates and camping conversions exist off the shelf rather than as one-offs.

3
Feedback into the product

Brands that stage their own events see their cars under load. That the T2 gets a 70-litre tank and the G700 a full 100 litres is not an accident.

For Europe

What arrives here — and what does not

Staying honest: the club structure grew in China and the Middle East, not in Europe. There is no broad European event programme, and we are not promising one.

What does arrive is the product of that strategy: cars engineered for long distances, with tank sizes and ranges that make sense on this continent, and with mounting and customisation options visible in the configurator. Everything else — advice, test drives, service — runs through us.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What does “Travel+” mean at Jetour?

The brand’s strategic focus on travel, camping and light off-road use: vehicles are engineered for it from the factory, complemented by community activity and customisation programmes.

What is a JETOUR CLUB?

An owners’ club supported by the brand. There are more than 300 worldwide with over 31,000 members; more than 500 road trips and camping events were organised through that structure in 2025.

Are there events like that in Europe?

There is no regular event programme here — the club structure has so far been built mainly in China and the Middle East. Advice, test drives and service are organised by us as the official Jetour dealer.
