Few brands cause as much name confusion as Jetour, and the reason is simple: the same car carries different badges depending on the market. The Traveller and the T2 are the same vehicle — in China the plug-in hybrid version is also called Shanhai T2.
Add the X series for the city, the G prefix for the flagship, and i-DM, which many people take for a model name. This article sorts the names out, so you know what to search for.

How the names are built
The T series is the boxy off-road family: upright faces, spare wheel on the tailgate, genuine off-road angles. T1 and T2 differ mainly in size.
The X series are conventional family SUVs for road and everyday use — X70 in the compact class, X90 as a seven-seater. “Plus”, “L” and “Pro” mark longer or higher-specified versions.
The G sits above everything: the G700 is the most technically elaborate series, with a ladder frame, air suspension and differential locks.
What should I search for when comparing offers?
The least ambiguous form is the type designation together with the drivetrain: Jetour T2 i-DM 2x2 or Jetour T2 i-DM 4x4. Search for “Traveller” alone and you will often land on listings from the Middle East or Asia whose equipment and engines do not match European specification.
The second trap is output figures: the T2 exists as a 381 hp version with two electric motors and as a 619 hp version with three. When comparing prices, always read the system output as well — otherwise you are comparing two very different cars.

Is the Jetour Traveller the same car as the T2?
Yes. Traveller is the internationally used name for the model sold here as the T2. In China the plug-in hybrid version also carries the Shanhai T2 name.
What does i-DM mean on the Jetour T2?
i-DM is the name of the plug-in hybrid drivetrain: a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine works with electric motors and a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT). Short trips run on electricity; on longer runs the petrol engine supplies the range.
Can I buy an X70 or X90 in Europe?
Not from stock — our range is the T2 i-DM and the G700. Other models such as the X70, X90, Dashing or T1 can be sourced and homologated on request as individual imports, which takes time and an individual calculation.
